NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - North Charleston police are investigating after a man was found shot to death in the parking lot of a business near North Charleston High School.

Police spokesman Spencer Pryor tells local media outlets the man’s body was found about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. His name was not immediately released. No arrests have been made in the case.

The nearby high school was put on lockdown for a time while officers investigated. The lockdown ended about 9 a.m.
