NORTH WILDWOOD, N.J. (AP) - Police in New Jersey arrested a man wanted on rape, sexual assault and other charges in Philadelphia after an eight-hour standoff.

Authorities tracked 23-year-old Jamik Washington of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, to a home in North Wildwood on Monday. The Cape May County Regional SWAT team surrounded the home.

Washington eventually surrendered and was arrested without incident.

He’s charged with criminal trespassing and obstruction of justice while he awaits extradition to Pennsylvania.
