BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s congressional delegation says the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa has been awarded a $1.3 million federal grant to build a new waste transfer facility.

The money comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The congressional delegation says the funds will be used to construct a functional waste transfer facility, which includes a maintenance building, paving improvements and a basic recycling program.
