HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. (AP) - A New Jersey man has been charged with drunken driving after his pickup truck was hit by a New Jersey Transit train.

NJ Transit spokeswoman Nancy Snyder tells The Record ( ) that none of the train’s crew or passengers were hurt in the incident that happened about 1 a.m. when an eastbound train headed to Hoboken hit a 2001 Toyota Tundra in Hasbrouck Heights.

Fifty-year-old Ediberto Rodriguez, of Clifton, was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, and faces driving while intoxicated and interfering with transportation charges.
