SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - About 25 people recently gathered in the rain to demand that Salt Lake City police release body camera footage of a February shooting.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1pylYKR ) that the protest was held outside the Salt Lake City public safety building Saturday.

Police have said 17-year-old Abdi Mohamed and a second person were beating a man with metal sticks when officers intervened. Officers say they fired at Mohamed after he moved toward the beaten man instead of obeying a command to drop the stick, but witnesses and Mohamed’s family have disputed that account.

The shooting is still under investigation.
