Rosie O’Donnell said she won’t follow through on her threat to move to Canada if Donald Trump becomes president, after the Republican presidential mused that driving the comedian out of the United States would be doing “a great service to our country.”

“Listen up wasted Trumpers — I am never leaving the USA — and he will never be president — he is a moron — we all see,” Ms. O’Donnell tweeted in all caps Wednesday morning to her 876,000 followers.

The tweet comes after Mr. Trump responded to the growing list of celebrities threatening to flee the country if he wins the presidency, including Lena Dunham, Whoopi Goldberg, and Ms. O’Donnell, who has engaged in a yearslong public feud with Mr. Trump.

“That would be a great, great thing for our country,” Mr. Trump said on Fox News Tuesday. “We’ll get rid of Rosie. Oh I love it. Now I have to get elected because I’m going to do a great service to our country. I have to. Now it’s much more important. In fact, I’ll immediately get off this call and start campaigning right now.”
