ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Hundreds of people are expected to participate in a conference in Ann Arbor that includes talks by leaders in the field of robotics.

Robotics Day events take place Tuesday at the North Campus Research Complex at the University of Michigan.

Highlights include a discussion about opportunities for autonomous vehicles in Michigan, indoor drone demonstrations and robot building by students. There’s also a tour of Mcity, the simulated city on the school’s campus that’s used for testing autonomous vehicles.

The event is sponsored by Dearborn-based Ford Motor Co., the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences and the University of Michigan.
