GUTHRIE, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma transportation officials say workers along Interstate 35 near Guthrie will shut down various lanes in both directions from time to time through September.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation said Monday that southbound I-35 is narrowed to one lane between the Cimarron River and Oklahoma Route 33 south of Guthrie for resurfacing. Motorists are advised to prepare for delays.

Later in the $9.8 million project, motorists will see various lane closures in northbound and southbound lanes into the fall. Crews are putting down a new surface along 16 miles of the highway.
