JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - ‘The city of Jackson has ended its annual winter overnight parking ban early due to warm weather.

The Jackson Hole News and Guide reports (https://bit.ly/25Gra0N ) that the rue typically bans parking on Jackson streets overnight from Nov. 1 to April 15 but town officials say the warm weather means plowing is unlikely to happen in the coming weeks.

Last year the Town Council considered changing the municipal code to allow for more flexibility in lifting the ban. Because the dates are written in the municipal code, any early lifting is informal.

Officials decided not to officially change the rule so as to avoid confusion.
