ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - A man has been sentenced to 13 to 26 years in prison in a fatal drunken driving crash in which severed body parts were left on an eastern Pennsylvania highway a year ago.

The (Allentown) Morning Call (https://bit.ly/1RY0RiD ) reports that a Lehigh County judge imposed the term Monday on 33-year-old Jose Santiago of Allentown.

Santiago pleaded guilty earlier this year to charges including homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence and aggravated assault in the March 2015 crash in Hanover Township.

Sixty-two-year-old Anna Lewis of Allentown was hit as she and her sister walked home from dinner. Authorities said parts of her body were later found in Santiago’s car.

Santiago wept in court Monday, vowing to devote his life to warning about the dangers of drinking and driving.
