MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Minot police are investigating four more burglaries over the weekend.

Authorities say the break-ins were at an automotive business, an auto glass business and two churches.

Burglaries in Minot last year increased about 50 percent from the previous year, to more than 300. The rash of break-ins of businesses, homes, churches and storage units has continued this year, with more than 40 reported in the first few months of 2016. Police last month said the number of break-ins had become “almost overwhelming.”
