LISBON, Portugal (AP) - Islam Slimani and Teo Gutierrez scored a pair of goals each as Sporting Lisbon defeated Belenenses 5-2 Monday to stay close to Portuguese leader Benfica, while Porto fell further behind after a shock 1-0 home loss to last-place Tondela.

Slimani scored in the 23rd and 32nd minutes and Gutierrez added his goals in the 58th and 78th at the Estadio do Restelo. Adrien Silva netted the visitors’ other goal in the 54th.

Belenenses scored through Marko Bakic in the 76th and Tiago Silva in the 89th.

The win gave Sporting 68 points from 28 games, two points behind Benfica, which routed Braga 5-1 Friday.

Porto remained on 61 points after Luis Alberto gave lowly Tondela the win with a 59th-minute goal at the Estadio do Dragao.
