TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Police in Tuscaloosa are searching for two men seen exchanging gunfire outside a Tuscaloosa home where bullets injured two bystanders.

The Tuscaloosa News reports (bit.ly/23dC8IX) the shootings happened Monday night as people were hanging around outside a home.

Kip Hart of the Tuscaloosa County Homicide Unit says witnesses reported seeing a gunman appear from between two houses and that he was “firing blindly back toward the crowd.”

Investigators were told a second shooter between the houses was firing at the first gunman. Hart says witnesses did not recognize either shooter.

One victim was treated and released from a local hospital. The second was taken to UAB Hospital in Birmingham with serious injuries.
