SHIPROCK, N.M. (AP) - The FBI and Navajo Nation police are trying to identify the victim of a fatal hit-and-run.

Authorities say the body of an unidentified woman in her 30s was found on the side of eastbound U.S. 64 about seven miles east of Shiprock.

According to the FBI, the woman apparently was killed between Sunday night and Monday morning.

The FBI says authorities want to hear from anyone who recalls seeing anything suspicious during that time along the highway.
