BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Officials are trying to determine what caused the death of a child diagnosed with swine flu.

The Billings Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/2389XP5) the 9-year-old girl who died attended school at Poly Drive Elementary through last week.

School District 2 Superintendent Terry Bouck says the school was scrubbed down Monday as a precaution.

RiverStone Health CEO John Felton said the provider is unaware of any health threat to others. A RiverStone advisory says testing is being conducted to try and determine the cause of the girl’s death.

It’s unclear whether she was hospitalized.

Poly Drive Principal Kevin Croff notified parents Monday.

The school held class discussions and made counselors available to students Tuesday.
