FORT WASHINGTON, Md. (AP) - Police say a man has been arrested after three people were stabbed at a nightclub in Fort Washington.

The incident happened early Monday.

Prince George’s County police say in a statement that 33-year-old Philip Harrington of the District of Columbia was arrested and charged with three counts of first- and second-degree assault.

Officers responded to Martini’s Restaurant and Lounge around 2 a.m. after reports of a fight and stabbings.

Police found three adult stabbing victims at the scene. Police say the victims included a club security guard who was stabbed as he was trying to break up the fight.

All three were taken to nearby hospitals in stable condition.

Police say their injuries were not life-threatening.

It isn’t immediately clear if Harrington has an attorney.
