Former Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields criticized her “friend” Fox News’ Sean Hannity for not challenging GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump on his “lies” that she grabbed him at a Florida press conference last month.

Jupiter police have charged Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski with simple battery for allegedly grabbing Ms. Fields by the arm at the March 8 conferenceMr. Trump, who initially said the grab never happened, now claims that Mr. Lewandowski was only “running interference,” because Ms. Fields grabbed Mr. Trump first. Mr. Trump has also said he’s considering taking legal action against Ms. Fields for allegedly touching him.

“Insane. @realDonaldTrump knows I didn’t do this. Continues to lie and lie and lie,” Ms. Fields tweeted Monday night after Mr. Trump made the claim again during a Fox News town hall with Sean Hannity.

“This whole situation is insane. So sad to see my ‘friend’ @seanhannity not challenge Trump on his lies,” the former Fox News contributor wrote.

Mr. Hannity responded: “Ok. @Michellefields I wrote u privately. I watched the tape 150 times. I do NOT see what u allege. Sorry I don’t.”

“@seanhannity you’re not even going to challenge @realDonaldTrump when he so obviously lies and says I grabbed him?” Ms. Fields asked. “@seanhannity yes u wrote me privately & then brought it up on radio & tv last week that you wrote me privately. What’s your point?”

“My point is I didn’t see you ‘jolted backwards’ and ‘yanked down’. And I did not see u ‘nearly fall to the ground,’ ” Mr. Hannity replied.

“Alright @seanhannity,” Ms. Fields tweeted. “Ignore all the evidence. Congrats I’m sure this will earn you another town hall with Trump.”
