JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) - The death of a 73-year-old woman whose beaten body was found behind a Jersey City warehouse last month has been ruled a homicide.

Hudson County prosecutors announced the decision Tuesday. They say an autopsy determined that Virginia “Polly” Wilson died from blunt force trauma.

Workers at the warehouse found Wilson’s body on March 26. It’s not clear if she was killed there or if her body had been left at the site.

Authorities have not disclosed a possible motive for the attack.

No arrests have been made.
