NEBO, N.C. (AP) - Search and rescue crews are looking for two hikers who have been reported missing in Pisgah National Forest.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that 25-year-old Anthony Logan and Tesla Rackley, who is about 20, have not been seen since Saturday afternoon near the Laurel Creek and Squirrel Gap trailhead.

Crews were expected to return to looking for the missing pair on Tuesday morning in western North Carolina.

Authorities say the couple went camping on Wednesday and were separated from the other three people in their group. They are believed to be accompanied by a dog named Lucky.

Multiple agencies have been assisting with the search, including a helicopter from the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
