WHITTIER, Calif. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with a residential burglary in Orange County and recovered jewelry, sports memorabilia and other stolen property worth about $150,000.

KNBC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/23gMo2V ) Jonas McClanahan was taken into custody Tuesday after deputies served a search warrant at a Whittier home following a 12-week investigation.

Most of the recovered items including paintings and coins were likely stolen in January from a home in Anaheim Hills. Investigators say more items connected to that burglary and possibly others were found when a warrant was served last month near Sacramento.

McClanahan could face charges including possession of stolen property. It wasn’t immediately known if he has a lawyer.
