CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is scheduled to speak at the Wyoming Republican State Convention in Casper next week.

A release from the Wyoming Republican Party says former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will speak on behalf of Donald Trump and Idaho Gov. Butch Otter will represent Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

All three will speak on the morning of April 16, the last day of the state convention.

More than 500 Wyoming delegates and alternates are expected to attend the convention. They will elect 14 of the 29 national delegates who will represent Wyoming at the Republican National Convention in July.

Republicans selected 12 delegates at county conventions last month, with Cruz picking up nine, Trump one and Marco Rubio one. One delegate was uncommitted.
