MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Police have released the names of three officers involved in the shooting death of a Memphis man, but authorities are refusing to say which officer actually fired his weapon.

Memphis police spokeswoman Karen Rudolph said Tuesday that officers Leon Dickson, Joshua Crawford and Brian Moore were involved in the March 23 shooting of 30-year-old Alexio Allen inside a house.

However, Rudolph would not say which officer fired his gun, referring questions to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Susan Niland, spokeswoman for the state police agency, declined to release the shooter’s name.

Niland has said Allen was shot by an officer as Allen struggled with a woman over possession of a rifle. But the woman has told The Associated Press that no struggle was taking place when the officer shot Allen.
