MONTROSE, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia State police say two people have been killed after a crash in Montrose.

Media outlets report the deadly wreck happened Tuesday afternoon on U.S. Route 219 and involved two vehicles.

State police spokesman Trooper First Class J.J. Cornelius declined to comment on how the incident occurred until he was able to contact family members.
