MAGNOLIA, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police have arrested two teenagers they say robbed a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint in Magnolia.

The agency said in a news release that two youths, ages 14 and 16, were arrested Sunday after they stole bicycles from a community pool. Troopers say a computer check showed the teenagers were wanted in a robbery that occurred on June 12.

Police say a driver for Papa John’s was making a delivery when three suspects flagged down his car. Troopers say one suspect had a handgun and another had a baseball bat.

Authorities say the driver handed over money and his cellphone. One of the suspects punched the driver in the face, and the three fled on foot.

Two youths are charged with robbery. A third suspect remains as large.
