HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut’s Department of Transportation is hosting an online public workshop to gather input about the state’s bus system.

Between now and Aug. 5, the public can visit www.ctbusstudy.com and watch a brief video about bus travel in Connecticut. Participants will be asked a series of questions about their mode of travel, their destinations and how bus travel can meet their needs.

The workshop takes about 20 minutes to complete. It can be accessed on most mobile devices.

Information gathered from the workshop will be used as part of DOT’s Statewide Bus Study to help better meet the transportation needs of Connecticut residents. The study will lead to possible changes to the bus system that will be included in the state’s 30-year plan to improve the transportation system.
