KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - A Kansas City man has been charged with fatally stabbing a man during an argument about when police could detain someone.

The Jackson County prosecutor’s office announced Sunday that 54-year-old Brian Morrow is charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death Friday of 20-year-old Isaiah Jones, of Kansas City. It wasn’t immediately known if Morrow had an attorney.

The Kansas City Star (https://bit.ly/2aomaeN ) reports that witnesses told police that the men began arguing while headed to a drive-in movie in Morrow’s sport utility vehicle. Jones asked to be dropped off, but the men continued arguing after he got out of the vehicle.

Court documents say the two then got into a physical altercation before Jones was stabbed. He died at the scene.
