DOVER, Del. (AP) - Dover Police say a man wanted for a probation violation led officers on a vehicle pursuit, later fleeing on foot before being cornered on roof of an apartment building.

The department says in a news release that on Friday night, officers saw a man who was wanted for removing his GPS ankle monitor driving on Fulton Street. Police say the man led officers in a pursuit to the Woodcrest Apartments, then got out of the car and ran.

Law enforcers found the man on the building’s roof and he was arrested without incident.

Twenty-year-old Lewis Foreman is charged with multiple offenses and traffic violations.
