EWING, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say they found a psychiatric hospital patient who escaped from a New Jersey facility over the weekend.

NJ.com reports (https://bit.ly/2aKFyPx ) 22-year-old Tyrik Haynes was located by state Human Services police officers on Sunday. Ewing police alerted residents about Haynes’ escape form Trenton Psychiatric Hospital late Saturday, warning that he should be considered dangerous.

Middletown police say he’s the suspect they arrested in January 2013 on charges he tried to kill a 19-year-old woman inside a Bed Bath & Beyond. He was indicted on first-degree attempted murder and weapons offenses.

The state Human Services Department declined to disclose any information about the incident while he was on the lam, citing medical privacy laws.
