NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A woman has died after a car crashed into her Nashville home.

Metropolitan Nashville Police Department spokesman Gregory Blair tells news outlets that the incident occurred early Monday after the driver of the vehicle lost control of the car, struck a utility pole and crashed into the home.

The driver of the car fled the scene but was later captured. Police also arrested the passenger of the vehicle.

Officials have not released the identities of the suspects or the woman who was killed. The investigation is ongoing.
