BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The University of Mary in Bismarck has hired a well-known public figure to lead its new Master of Public Administration Program.

William Goetz (gehtz) is a former chief of staff for two governors, a five-year chancellor of the North Dakota University System, and for two decades, a state senator and representative.

Former President Ronald Reagan also once appointed Goetz to serve on the National Advisory Council on Educational Research.

Mary President James Shea (shay) says Goetz “models true servant leadership.”
