UNION CITY, N.J. (AP) - A 23-year-old woman is facing charges in the death of a New Jersey man who was found stabbed to death inside his bedroom.

The Jersey Journal reports (https://bit.ly/2aBTwDx ) police found 22-year-old Kevin Argueta on his bedroom floor Saturday evening in Union City with what authorities are calling “multiple sharp force injuries.” He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez says Cateline Hichos was arrested a few hours later in the killing. The Guttenberg woman is charged with aggravated manslaughter, hindering apprehension and several weapons offenses.

Investigators say Hichos knew Argueta but it’s unclear what their relationship was.

It’s not known if Hichos has an attorney who could comment on the charges.
