NEWARK, Del. (AP) - Newark Police have arrested two brothers who, they say, robbed a 15-year-old who was trying to buy marijuana.

The department says in a news release that on May 27, the victim went to the police station to report that he had been robbed the day before when he was trying to buy an Xbox. Officers say while they investigated the crime, the learned that the youth had been robbed while he was trying to buy marijuana.

Police say after further investigation, detectives identified two suspects. They were arrested on July 29.

Twenty-one-year-old Brandon Silva and 19-year-old Brian Silva have been charged with robbery and other offenses.
