STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) - Forecasters have issued a flood advisory for parts of northern central Pennsylvania.

The urban and small stream flood advisory is in effect until 9:15 a.m. Wednesday for Potter, northern Cameron, Northern Elk, McKean and southern Warren counties.

Heavy rain is falling over an area that received 2 to 3 inches of rainfall since midnight. Forecasters say an additional inch to 1½ inches is likely, mainly south of Route 6.

That rain can cause minor flooding.
