CUPERTINO, Calif. (AP) - California authorities have arrested one suspect and are searching for two more after a laptop robbery reported at an Apple building.

KNTV reports (https://bit.ly/2aBb9Fu ) Apple security notified Santa Clara County sheriff’s deputies about a getaway car leaving the Cupertino building around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Sgt. James Jensen said deputies spotted the car and gave chase, but the driver wouldn’t stop and roared into a neighborhood. The car became disabled and all three suspects fled on foot.

One of the suspects was arrested at a nearby Starbucks, after attempting to use a bathroom locked by a security code. The other two suspects took off into the neighborhood, where deputies are scouring backyards.

Apple has its corporate headquarters in Cupertino, California.
