SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah (AP) - Police in Utah are looking for a man suspected of abducting a 9-year-old boy who ran from the man’s vehicle in a supermarket parking lot in Saratoga Springs.

Saratoga Springs Police Chief Andrew Burton tells the Deseret News (https://bit.ly/2b68W4q ) the boy reported that he was walking near his home when the man forced him into the vehicle about 7 p.m. Tuesday.

When the man pulled behind a grocery store a short distance away, the boy jumped out, started running and called his stepdad with his watch.

The boy tells police the man who grabbed him has tan skin, shoulder-length dark hair and a goatee.

He was reported to be driving a tan or light brown 1990s model Chevrolet Tahoe.
