PHOENIX (AP) - The Latest on storms around the Southwest (all times local):

Northern Arizona is being hit by heavy rains on a second day of bad weather associated with former Tropical Storm Javier in Mexico.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for the Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon areas on Wednesday afternoon.

The agency also reported strong thunderstorms around Winslow and Joseph City.

Wednesday marks the second day of bad storms around Arizona. On Tuesday, heavy rains caused extensive flooding and resulted in the swift water rescue of eight cars.
