SMYRNA, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police have charged two people with possessing and intending to sell crystal meth.

The department said in a news release that on Wednesday night, detectives learned that a drug deal was going to take place in a convenience store parking lot in Smyrna.

Police say detectives confronted two people in a car in the parking lot and say searches of them and the vehicle turned up nearly 20 grams of meth.

Twenty-nine-year-old Jenah Hargett and 36-year-old Troy Durant, both of Clayton, were arrested and charged with drug offenses.
