DENVER (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a 23-year-old man who was stabbed to death during a fight in the small town of Strasburg east of Denver.

The Arapahoe County coroner’s office identified the victim Thursday as Andrew Michael Martinez, who died of a stab wound to the chest Wednesday. His death has been ruled a homicide.

The Denver Post reports (https://goo.gl/HTRXvR) 21-year-old Jeremiah Pepper was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder. Witnesses say the fight started over where Pepper’s vehicle was parked.

Booking documents do not indicate if Pepper has hired an attorney.

Strasburg is about 35 miles east of downtown Denver.
