KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) - Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is planning a free “movie night” to celebrate the National Park Service’s 100th birthday.

Park officials say they’ll show a one-hour segment from Ken Burns’ documentary, “The National Parks: America’s Best Idea” on the front lawn at the park on Aug. 20.

The music group “Historical Echoes” will perform Civil War songs at 7:45 p.m., with the movie beginning at 8:20 p.m.
