PHOENIX (AP) - Police are searching for a gunman wanted in a deadly robbery of a Phoenix convenience store.

Officers responded to the 7-Eleven on Southern Avenue on Monday just after midnight to find one of the clerks dead.

Investigators say the suspect was wearing a bandana over his face and gloves when he entered the store and robbed the clerks at gunpoint. The suspect then moved the clerks to a back room.

That’s where police say 36-year-old clerk Amanjeet Singh Toor was shot during a struggle over the gun. The suspect then fled.

Police and Toor’s family on Thursday were asking for the public’s help in solving the case. The 7-Eleven Corp. also has contributed to an $11,000 reward fund.
