LAS VEGAS (AP) - Nevada Sen. Harry Reid says his emails are so boring that not even Russian President Vladimir Putin would want to read them.

The Senate Democratic leader made the comments Thursday in a phone call with reporters, after being asked whether he fears his correspondence will be divulged as part of a hack of Democratic groups.

Emails from Democratic National Committee staffers were exposed in a cyberattack with Russian government ties. A cache released last month before the Democratic National Convention showed apparent favoritism toward Hillary Clinton in the primary.

Reid also criticized Republicans for failing to consider Merrick Garland for the Supreme Court, and called them “minions” and “enablers” of Donald Trump.

He described Trump as a bigot who’s unfit for office and is making a fool of himself.
