LAMAR, S.C. (AP) - Two men - one from South Carolina and one from Tennessee - are dead after two pickup trucks crashed at an intersection in rural Darlington County.

Lance Cpl. Judd Jones of the South Carolina Highway Patrol tells local media that it happened about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. 401 a few miles south of Interstate 20.

Coroner J. Todd Hardee identified the victims as 52-year-old Wayne Feagan of Timmonsville and 48-year-old Creed Childress of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in one of the trucks was hospitalized.
