FARGO, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota U.S. Attorney Chris Meyers says he’s turning to religious leaders to get the word out about the dangers of opiate abuse.

Myers tells KFGO-AM (https://bit.ly/2b9qVXJ ) that he’s asking Fargo-area clergy members to use their influence to spread the message.

Myers says faith leaders will be briefed on the proposal during an upcoming meeting.

Myers says the proposal has already received a “great response” from the religious community.
