CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - It’s going to be another hot one in New Hampshire.

A heat advisory issued by the National Weather Service is staying through 7 p.m. Friday, with temperatures rising to the mid-90s and a heat index of 102.

In Concord on Thursday, the high of 98 degrees tied a record for the date, set in 1944.

The weather service says shows are and storms are expected Friday, with some producing heavy downpours and gusty winds.

Slightly drier and more seasonable temperatures return next week.
