WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - A Wilmington corporate litigation lawyer is being sued by a bicyclist who was struck by his vehicle on Kennett Pike.

The News Journal reports (https://delonline.us/2b24HUf) Jennifer Vinton says in a lawsuit that attorney Thomas J. Allingham II struck her as he turned onto the road where he lives on Aug. 14, 2014.

Vinton says that she sustained injuries to her left wrist and hand, pelvis, ribs, neck, shoulder, left knee, hip, ankle and arm, as well as a traumatic brain injury. She also claims to have lost wages.

The lawsuit demands judgment, arguing that Allingham was negligent.

Vinton’s attorney, Timothy Lengkeek, declined to comment. Attempts by the newspaper to reach Allingham were unsuccessful.

The News Journal reports Allingham is a well-known lawyer at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
