MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Funeral services are set for a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agent who was killed in Jackson during an undercover drug buy.

The TBI says 35-year-old Special Agent De’Greaun Frazier was killed Tuesday when a man drew a gun in a robbery attempt and shot him. Frazier, who died at a hospital, is the first TBI agent to be killed in the line of duty since the agency was created in 1951.

Visitation is scheduled next Tuesday at Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova. A funeral is scheduled at Bellevue on Wednesday, followed by the burial at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery in Memphis.

Frazier is survived by a wife and two children. Brenden Tyler Burns is charged with murder in the course of an attempted aggravated robbery in Frazier’s death.
