SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Employees of a popular San Francisco restaurant are mourning after the death of a 28-year-old chef.

KNTV-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2aQqnVO ) that a co-worker found Frank Galicia’s body in a stairwell at Westfield Mall Wednesday and says the chef was covered with scratches and injuries. Police ruled the death a homicide and haven’t said much else.

Louis Galicia said Thursday that he doesn’t understand why is brother was killed in an apparently violent way. He says Frank Galicia was very laid back and didn’t have disputes with anyone.

Sons & Daughters restaurant Thursday so employees could mourn Galicia, who was a line chef there. A statement from the restaurant says the small team operates like a close-knit family and is devastated by Galicia’s death.
