FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - A 5-year-old girl who was reported abducted on Thursday has been found safe and police have a suspect in custody.

Fort Collins police have not identified the suspect, but they said they believe she was with an adult relative when she was reported missing.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation tells KMGH-TV (https://tinyurl.com/gofkskg ) officers were issuing a protection order for the girl and a warrant for the suspect when the suspect began driving recklessly and eluded police with the girl in the vehicle.
