WASHINGTON (AP) - The U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” is performing an outdoor concert near the Washington Monument.

The band is performing an end-of-summer concert Saturday evening at the outdoor National Sylvan Theater. The theater is on the monument’s grounds near 15th Street and Independence Avenue.

The Army says in a statement that the band’s 90-minute performance will include Peter Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture,” Broadway tunes, and songs by Aaron Copland, John Williams and the Beach Boys.
