GILFORD, N.H. (AP) - The Gunstock Mountain Resort has a new $2.6 million Mountain Coaster.

The coaster measures almost 4,100 feet long, descends more than 220 feet and takes about six minutes to complete a full lap. Participants can travel downhill at speeds up to 25 mph.

Its safety features include auto-lock harnesses and distance control assist.

It’s the latest mountain coaster at a New Hampshire ski resort. Organizers hope to operate it year-round.
